Our World Contests and Quizzes - How to Participate and Win
How to win the Most Active Student Award?
An active member is one who participates in all the daily contests, creates the audio version of the daily vocabulary posts, likes the posts with an emoji 👍, participates in the weekly quiz and find the answers for the afternoon trivia. In other words, an active member is interested in learning and improving himself or herself.
How to win the Daily Contest?
The winner of the daily contest is based on the score in the Kahoot! Quiz conducted everyday from 6 pm to 8 pm. In the Kahoot! based quiz you should get all the answers correct – the green bar without any tinge of red colour. Only these (all green) scores will be considered for the weekend Daily Contest. Please refer to the image posted below.
What is Our World Weekly Quiz?
Our World Weekly Quiz is conducted from 7 PM to 7.30 PM via Google Forms.
The weekly quiz is conducted based on the information shared through WhatsApp status and the blog. The weblink for the same will be posted in the WhatsApp group.
This week’s winners will not be eligible for the next week’s cash awards. This is to make sure that everyone gets a chance.
How to record the audio version of the Our World - Your Word poster
Find a quiet place inside/outside your home.
Before recording, read the text in the poster three to five times.
If there are any doubts regarding the words and their pronunciation, check Google or an online dictionary.
Once you are ready, use a microphone (earphones/headphones) to record the voice.
Read the text slowly keeping your mouth not so near the mic.
Give enough pause between the word, meaning and the example sentences.
Check the recording for clarity, volume, and background noise.
If you are satisfied, please forward it to me.

Rules & regulations regarding the Our World Weekly Quiz 4
Quiz format - there will be MCQs, True/False questions based on the WhatsApp posts
The posts can be accessed at www.ourworld23.com
There will be three winners and each winner will receive 100 INR as a cash award.
The winners will be decided based on the first three entries with the maximum marks.
The cash awards will be transferred through Google Pay or Paytm only
The quiz is open to all the current students of DRBCCC Hindu College
The quiz will be open from 7 PM pm to 7.30 pm only.
Responses received after 7.30 PM will not be considered for the prize
Only those students who have completed the Google Feedback / Survey form will be eligible for this Quiz.
Our World members who have already won cash awards in the previous quiz ( Weekly Quiz 4) can only participate in this weekly quiz. They will not be eligible for the cash awards.
The decision of the Quiz master (Prof. Premjith Mathew) will be the final one

DAILY CONTEST WINNER
The cash award is given to students who have scored the maximum mark in a quiz based on the daily contests posted in the Our World group.
How can you win this award?
By participating in all the daily contests.
By scoring the highest in a quiz based on the daily contests.
The first person who scores the highest mark will be considered for the award.
Even after participating in all the daily contests, the final decision will be taken based on the quiz results conducted on Saturday evening from 9 pm – 10 pm.
Students who have already participated in the 5 daily contests will be given the advantage.
The Quiz will be conducted through Kahoot!
The cash award will be transferred through Google Pay.
The decision of the admin will be the final one.
The Daily Contest Winner will be announced every Monday.
