The World of Exaggeration
Taken at VR Mall, Chennai, one of our favourite destinations, which is also near to us. One word that comes to mind when thinking of any mall is exaggeration or hyperbole. The customers are always treated to something big and magnificent – big offers, big displays, significant discounts, big events, etc. A larger-than-life traditional lantern was hung in the mall atrium two weeks before Diwali. This corporate artefact attracts the attention of shoppers, mostly window shoppers and selfie-takers.
