Little Trouble Girls is a Slovenian 2025 drama film directed by Urška Djukić and co-written with Maria Bohr. It follows 16-year-old Lucija, a shy Catholic school student, and her evolving relationship with classmate Ana-Marija. The film premiered in the Perspectives section at the 75th Berlin International Film Festival, where it competed for Best Feature Film and was nominated for the Teddy Award. It was also Slovenia’s submission for Best International Feature Film at the 98th Academy Awards. While on a choir retreat at a countryside convent, Lucija develops new feelings that challenge her beliefs and disrupt her friendship with Ana-Marija, forcing her to confront her identity and desires.
